CIDNUR/ESEL project developed in partnership with a Norwegian treatment centre aims to establish a network for non-pharmacological clinical trials
On the 26th of October, the TRACTION project (Trials foR heAlth Care inTerventIONs), funded by the European Economic Area Financial Mechanism (EEA Grants) under the Bilateral Relations Fund, was officially launched.
ESEL and its’ Nursing Research, Innovation and Development Centre of Lisbon (CIDNUR) are the promotor entities of the project, which is developed in partnership with the Center for Treatment of Rheumatic and Musculoskeletal Diseases (REMEDY) of Oslo, Norwegian.
This initiative aims to establish an integrated network that facilitates the performance of clinical trials with non-pharmacological health care interventions, such as patient education, health literacy or physical activity promotion, mainly promoted by non-medical health professionals.
As part of the project, a workshop will be held at ESEL in May 2023, promoted by renowned international specialists.
